Abstract The articles presented here in this special issue on Displaced Syria emerged from a workshop held at Institute of New York University Abu Dhabi March 2019. Its aims were to encourage an examination the perceptions and aspiration displaced Syrians practitioners hosting countries Levant, Gulf, Europe with attention voices displaced, their reimagining home homeland, emerging transnational sense identity belonging.
